Prior to his death, Alex Mercer owned a Laptop. Mercer used this laptop for his research and to collect what information he had gathered on Gentek. Realizing his life was in danger, he sent it to his sister. When Zeus returned in the guise of Alex, Dana took him to her safe house, where she provided him with information he had previously retrieved about Elizabeth Greene.

The laptop is not seen after this, but it is presumable that Dana and Alex continued to utilize it and the information stored within.
