Lieutenant Mark Simon was a Blackwatch soldier caught by Alex Mercer. Mercer used Simon to convince James Heller about Gentek and Blackwatch's true intentions.
When consumed, Heller was able to retain a memory of Simon arguing with Dr. Fento about the damage Alex Mercer would cause to their operations in New York.
